From there, we identify what is supported, what does not align, and what deserves further attention.
Before the meeting, we develop a clear position around what the record supports, what you want the team to consider, and why.
Afterward, I review what was decided and documented, then help you adjust course as needed based on what happened and what still needs attention.
I interpret what the evaluation says about your child’s learning and how those findings should inform eligibility, goals, services, and other school decisions.
From there, we identify the actionable steps that should come next.
A closer look at how your child’s current programming connects to the school’s proposals and to the concerns you may have. You can participate fully in the process without having to become a special education expert yourself.
I guide you through changes in school placement, including moves between public, private, specialized programs, and day schools, as well as placement recommendations and exit criteria.
You will understand how the transition may affect services, eligibility, records, and what should be in place before the move.
